Duties

  • Research and analyze complex legal issues in state and federal courts.
  • Draft appellate briefs, petitions, and other appellate filings.
  • Prepare and argue dispositive and evidentiary motions.
  • Develop legal strategy with trial teams throughout litigation phases.
  • Advise on evolving case law and procedural issues.
  • Support trial teams with complex legal questions.
  • Collaborate on high-profile product liability and commercial litigation matters.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 3+ years of appellate practice or advanced motions experience.
  • Demonstrated appellate advocacy experience preferred.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Experience with complex motions in state and federal courts.
  • Understanding of procedural and appellate rules.
  • Experience in product liability or complex civil litigation preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
