The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience and will work closely with an experienced partner to represent corporate and insurer clients on workers' compensation claims.

Duties

• Evaluate and advise clients on workers' compensation claims.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Communicate with client and claims representatives.
• Create and submit required client reports.
• Prepare motions and briefs to support client positions.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
• Minimum of two years of workers' compensation defense experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
