Job Overview: A law firm in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a highly experienced Partner-Level Attorney to join their Data Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in breach response and data privacy counseling, strong academic credentials, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Duties:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction in the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group.
• Manage and oversee complex legal matters related to data breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
• Advise clients on compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for clients facing cybersecurity threats.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and policies related to data privacy and cybersecurity.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligible for admission via reciprocity.
• Relevant experience in Data Privacy and Cybersecurity law.
• Proven track record of handling high-profile data breach incidents and providing effective legal counsel.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team of attorneys and legal professionals.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification preferred.
