Duties

• Manage a full caseload of civil insurance defense matters, including construction defect and bodily injury claims

• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and court hearings

• Draft and review legal motions, pleadings, and discovery responses

• Negotiate case resolutions and settlements

• Provide case updates and strategic reporting to clients

• Appear in court and independently handle assignments with minimal oversight

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years’ litigation experience in insurance defense

• Proven experience in construction defect and bodily injury matters required

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (additional state licenses a plus)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage complex litigation independently in a remote environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Texas Bar license required
