Duties
- Assist with all phases of complex civil litigation from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy.
- Manage and coordinate discovery, including e-discovery.
- Participate in depositions, court appearances, mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic guidance and regular case updates.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys across offices and practice groups on complex litigation matters.
- Handle sophisticated and high exposure matters with professionalism and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Admission to practice in Delaware required.
- Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in defense litigation, commercial litigation, or complex business disputes.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience managing discovery and e-discovery processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Strong organizational, case management, and interpersonal skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the Delaware Bar.
Skills
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Strong analytical and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience with discovery and e-discovery processes.
