The candidate should have excellent academic credentials and preferably 2-4 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for chemistry-related matters. Ph.D. in organic chemistry or chemical biology (or similar chemistry field) is required. Must have a demonstrated track record of drafting and prosecuting patent applications for innovative chemistry and/or pharmaceutical corporations. Should have demonstrated: scientific expertise and persuasive writing skills; deep knowledge of best practices in patent prosecution; and effective oral presentation and explanation of work product. Must be admitted to practice before the USPTO.

Submit cover letter, resume, salary requirements, with a list of relevant (chemistry) US patents and/or published applications that you have drafted; and representative samples of USPTO Office Action responses for chemistry applications that you have prosecuted.
