A law firm is seeking a skilled Employment Practice Attorney to join its growing employment law team. Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal services to clients on various employment law matters.
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, employee handbooks, and other HR-related documents.
  • Represent clients in employment-related disputes, including discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for employment law matters.
  • Provide guidance on HR problems, helping clients mitigate risks and navigate complex legal issues.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and problem-solving.
  • Stay current on evolving employment law trends and changes to regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience practicing employment law.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality legal advice.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience advising clients on employment law issues and litigation.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in the relevant state.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • High energy, with the ability to manage multiple client matters simultaneously.
