Duties:

• Manage a caseload of complex commercial litigation matters from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategy and decision-making.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and Orders to Show Cause.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and appeals.
• Conduct and participate in depositions.
• Maintain consistent communication with courts, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Stay updated on legal developments, industry trends, and best practices to enhance legal representation.

Requirements:

• Bar Admission: Active admission to the bar in New York and New Jersey.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years in commercial litigation within a reputable legal environment.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with New York’s CPLR, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and other relevant legal frameworks.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management software, and e-discovery tools.
• Personal Traits: Analytical mindset, self-motivation, and strong critical-thinking skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in both New York and New Jersey.
