A law firm seeks a mid-level Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience for their office in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work, including start-ups and emerging growth companies.

Duties

• Advise start-ups and emerging growth companies on seed and venture capital financings.
• Manage public offerings and venture financings using NVCA documents.
• Handle domestic M&A transactions for startup companies and investors.
• Maintain and develop client and counsel relationships.
• Communicate complex legal matters effectively in both oral and written form.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in emerging companies and venture capital work.
• Experience with at least ten venture financings using NVCA documents.
• Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• State Bar admission in practicing state.
