A respected law firm is actively seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to support its Litigation Team remotely from Columbus, GA, in collaboration with the Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of relevant legal experience and must be licensed to practice in Georgia. Location

Duties

• Evaluate new case files to establish strategy, budgets, and recommended action plans

• Identify and draft necessary pleadings; assign appropriate tasks to paralegals

• Handle discovery processes including response drafting and document production

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and other discovery proceedings

• Negotiate settlements and secure necessary authority

• Prepare cases for trial as needed

• Maintain frequent communication with legal support staff to ensure case progression

Requirements

• 3–4 years of litigation experience (insurance defense experience preferred)

• Active license to practice law in Georgia

• Proven ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize deadlines

• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the Georgia State Bar (Required)
