Duties

• Handle all aspects of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution.

• Provide guidance and counsel to clients with clear communication.
• Review medical records and coordinate with expert witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Florida medical malpractice law.
• Manage a substantial caseload and provide leadership to support staff.
• Draft pleadings, create litigation plans, and conduct discovery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of medical malpractice litigation experience.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership skills to build and manage a legal team.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with clients during challenging times.
• Determination to achieve the best results for clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
