A law firm is currently seeking a highly qualified Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing developers in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and financing transactions. The candidate should be adept at handling title and survey reviews, drafting acquisition documents, and reviewing diverse loan documents. Admission to the Massachusetts and/or Connecticut Bar is mandatory, and the candidate should possess top academic and transactional credentials, along with excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.

Duties

• Represent developers in complex commercial real estate transactions, focusing on acquisitions and public/private financing transactions.
• Handle affordable housing tax credit transactions, if applicable.
• Conduct title and survey reviews for real estate transactions.
• Draft acquisition documents and review a variety of loan documents.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Experience with affordable housing tax credit transactions is a plus.
• Admission to the Massachusetts and/or Connecticut Bar.
• Strong fundamentals in title and survey review.
• Excellent drafting skills for acquisition documents.
• Proficiency in reviewing diverse loan documents.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts and/or Connecticut Bar.
