Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney Manager with extensive litigation experience to oversee a team of trial attorneys and legal staff in Austin, TX. This role involves directing and supervising a team of 4-6 attorneys through every stage of case development, ensuring outstanding client-centered results.

Duties

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 4-6 attorneys and their support staff.
• Ensure thorough case development from intake through trial and/or resolution.
• Oversee client meetings, strategy discussions, and case evaluations.
• Draft and send demand letters; negotiate settlements.
• File lawsuits and manage litigation processes.
• Issue and respond to written discovery; review and analyze medical records.
• Conduct motion practice and court hearings.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions; prepare for trial through conclusion and/or settlement.
• Supervise all cases assigned to the team, ensuring timely completion and high-quality legal work.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 personal injury jury trials preferred (Plaintiff or Defense).
• Proven experience with Texas personal injury law, including pre-litigation, litigation processes, and trial.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Bar license required.
• Active Texas Bar license preferred.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
