Corporate Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Albany, NY, is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience and significant competency in corporate, tax, trust and estates, and commercial matters. Preference will be given to candidates with an LL.M. in Tax or an accounting background. Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support to clients in corporate, tax, trust and estates, and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents and contracts.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
• Develop and implement case strategies and provide guidance.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of legal experience with competency in corporate, tax, trust and estates, and commercial matters.
• An LL.M. in Tax or an accounting background is preferred.
• Active Bar license in the state of New York or eligibility to obtain one.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
