Job Title: Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced attorney to join their team. This role is ideal for a civil litigator with a solid track record and a passion for handling complex legal matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of litigation cases, providing both strategic insight and hands-on legal expertise.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Prepare and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Advise clients on legal strategies and risk management.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on case development and strategy.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Stay updated on legal developments and applicable case law.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Active Bar membership in California, Arizona, or Tennessee.
• Proven track record in managing litigation cases from start to finish.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, or Tennessee.

Skills:

• Civil litigation expertise, including motion practice and trial preparation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to negotiate and resolve complex legal issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and client management skills.
