Temporary Attorney I

The candidate will be responsible to assist with the promulgation of regulations including drafting and editing agency regulations; drafting statutorily compliant notices of public hearing; drafting required documents for submission to the Executive Board of the Legislature, Secretary of State, agency directors, and the Attorney General's Office; conducting public hearings on the regulations; and ensuring that all statutory requirements for the promulgation of regulations are met. Must have graduation from an accredited school of law and admission to the Nebraska Bar. In accordance with Section 7-101, Nebraska Revised, Reissued Statutes of l943, must be admitted to the Nebraska Bar.
