Job Overview:
A reputable mid-sized law firm in Irvine, CA is seeking a full-time Eviction Attorney with 2–5 years of experience handling a variety of landlord-tenant disputes. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of residential and commercial eviction cases and assist in managing a surplus-funds portfolio. This role is ideal for attorneys with strong litigation and client communication skills, especially those familiar with rent control and jury trial matters. A portable book of business is welcomed but not required.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of residential and commercial eviction matters

• Analyze leases, title documents, and eviction notices

• Draft and review pleadings, pre-trial motions, and discovery documents

• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and settlement conferences

• Communicate with clients on case progress and legal strategy

• Assist in the management of a surplus-funds portfolio

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of direct experience in landlord-tenant law and evictions

• Familiarity with rent control jurisdictions and jury trial procedures

• Proficient in case analysis, legal drafting, and court procedures

• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of California (required)
