Job Overview
A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Corporate group in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience with start-ups, emerging growth companies, seed and venture capital financings, growth and private equity, and mergers & acquisitions.
Duties
- Counsel early-stage entrepreneurs.
- Represent companies and venture funds in financing rounds and M&A.
- Engage in investor-side financing in growth equity rounds.
- Maintain significant client contact, interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners.
Requirements
- JD from 2022 - 2023.
- Previous large law firm experience required.
- Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of Massachusetts.
- Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
- Experience in venture capital financings, growth and/or private equity, M&A transactions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD)
Certifications
- Admitted to the State Bar of Massachusetts or eligible for waiver.
