The candidate reviews records. Identifies missing records and additional records required. Identifies personnel to interview. Summarizes, creates chronologies and/or timelines. Provides analysis of records as applies to case. Researches medical literature for general and specific case issues. Identifies experts within the literature. Obtains articles and texts. Analyzes literature and correlates to case. Identifies potential expert witnesses and contacts for review. Assembles expert packets including case summary or introduction letter. Obtains appropriate medical exhibits for trial, collaborates with demonstrative exhibit experts to create new exhibits and orders exhibits required. Sorts, labels and inventories radiology studies and attaches reports. Identifies when needed. Attends physician interviews and depositions and provides summary at the attorney(s) request. Should have active RN license (BSN preferred). Must have 5+ years experience in a variety of clinical settings. Nursing Home or diverse clinical experience a plus.
