Desktop Support Specialist
Candidate will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that provides support services over the phone, via email, in person, and/or using remote tools. Will include: diagnose and resolving software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and across a range of software applications, taking ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible, escalate incidents to other support teams where necessary, record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system, configure and install new IT equipment based on new hire procedures, close accounts and consolidate data based on employee termination procedures, create, maintain and publish relevant support documentation for Firm systems, maintain hardware inventory, recommend equipment for replacement or upgrade, setup video conference meetings, including testing the connection and configuring hardware, provide first-class customer service and other duties as assigned. This is a hands-on position that involves working in a team-oriented and client-centered environment. Will proactively seek opportunities to improve processes, procedures, or relationships relevant to job responsibilities.
