Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal briefs
• Conduct comprehensive legal research
• Communicate with clients and opposing parties to negotiate and resolve claims
• Manage a diverse caseload from initiation through settlement or resolution
• Provide timely and detailed updates on case progress
• Collaborate with senior attorneys during depositions and court appearances

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, ideally in civil litigation, personal injury, or related fields
• Active license to practice law in South Carolina
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Capacity to prioritize and manage a variety of cases efficiently
• Proficient in legal research and writing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice in South Carolina

Skills:

• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle a high caseload with competing priorities
• Familiarity with legal software such as Westlaw, iManage, and Juris Suite is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
