Job Overview:
A law firm located in Lexington, MA, is seeking a detail-oriented Business Immigration Attorney through a legal recruiting agency. This role focuses on managing a wide array of employment-based immigration cases and advising corporate clients on compliance, workforce mobility, and immigration strategy. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in handling complex immigration filings and providing tailored legal support to businesses navigating the U.S. immigration system.

Duties:

• Manage employment-based immigration cases, including:

  • H-1B, L-1, and O-1 visa petitions

  • PERM labor certification applications

  • EB-5 investor visas

  • EB-1A extraordinary ability and NIW petitions

• Offer strategic legal guidance to businesses on immigration compliance and policy

• Draft and review legal documents and case submissions

• Collaborate with HR and in-house counsel on immigration planning and procedures

• Monitor immigration developments and advise clients accordingly

• Support internal process enhancements to improve client service delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling business immigration matters

• Demonstrated expertise in employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processes

• Strong analytical, legal writing, and research capabilities

• Effective communicator with a proactive client-focused approach

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in Massachusetts (MA) is required

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. immigration law and procedures

• Ability to handle high-volume caseload efficiently and accurately

• Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
