Duties

• Work with private equity funds, independent sponsors, and portfolio companies on M&A transactions.
• Draft operating and partnership agreements.
• Manage day-to-day needs of portfolio companies.
• Lead M&A transactions from inception to closing.
• Negotiate important transaction documents.
• Collaborate effectively across practice areas.
• Train junior associates.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong academic background.
• Superior drafting and research skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Admitted to the Texas Bar.
• Willingness to engage in community and professional organizations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Texas Bar.

Skills

• Experience with M&A transactions and capital raises.
• Ability to draft M&A transaction documents.
• Team-oriented and personable.
