Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate for its growing Tax practice in Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will possess strong client management skills, superior academic credentials, and experience in large law or accounting firms. Duties

• Manage and advise on transactional tax matters, including funds, joint ventures, and private equity.
• Engage in strategic mergers and acquisitions, finance, and restructuring work.
• Provide expertise in fund formation and partnership tax.
• Structure inbound foreign investments and handle REIT and real estate finance.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of transactional tax experience.
• Previous experience in a large law or accounting firm.
• Strong client management and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in structuring complex financial transactions.
