A respected regional law firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 2–3 years of civil litigation experience to join its Southbury, Connecticut office. Location:

• Southbury, Connecticut

Duties:

• Handle a variety of civil litigation cases from inception through resolution

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda

• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations

• Engage in discovery, including document review and interrogatories

• Maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel

• Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys to develop case strategies

• Participate in client meetings, case evaluations, and legal strategy sessions

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in civil litigation

• Employment law experience preferred but not required

• Strong legal research and analytical skills

• Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Detail-oriented with effective time management

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Connecticut State Bar (required)

• Admission to the New York State Bar (preferred but not required)
