Senior Manager Strategic Pricing and Matter Planning/Planning and Analysis
The candidate leads and executes pricing and matter planning analyses and strategies through use of sound economic and pricing theories, understanding of matter lifecycles and resource allocation concepts and implementation of technology tools that drive efficiency and profitability. Innovates, technology and other process improvements are identified and effectively planned in support of functional and departmental initiatives. Works closely with the partners and firm leadership to provide guidance and support on creative pricing approaches, appropriate fee arrangements and day-to-day pricing needs for new and existing clients and matters. Prices strategy and matter planning recommendations reflect sound business judgment, strategic consideration of all relevant and available financial and non-financial data that promote the alignment of client and firm interests and preserves and protects the firm's assets. Instrumental in creates awareness of the effect of pricing and matter planning strategies in meeting client needs and business objectives. Leverages technology to lead complex data analyses and evaluate staffing plans to understand and trends, set expectations, influence others and drive efficiency. Establishes pricing policies, processes and procedures are implemented and complied with and best practices are appropriate for the firm's evolving business needs. Communicates complex ideas and pricing and matter planning concepts emphasizing strategic positioning and supporting firm business development efforts. Develops resource strategies and organizes team resources to meet business needs, execute project plans and maximize individual and team performance. Recruits, leads, mentors, develops and evaluates talent through the ability to influence behavior, drive organizational and individual change and maximize team performance. Effectively communicates (orally and in writing) and maintains effective working relationships with team members, peers, firm leadership and internal/ external clients. Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
