This role involves substantial ownership of a pre-litigation docket, handling key aspects of case strategy, and driving results. The attorney will work independently and alongside senior attorneys to maximize case value and deliver strong outcomes for clients.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings and legal proceedings.
• Manage a significant personal injury docket from intake through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, and experts.
• Draft and argue motions, discovery, and pleadings with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and lead mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Attend and argue hearings independently.
• Develop and execute case strategies to maximize recovery.
• Work up cases for trial, including coordinating experts and evidence.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide case updates.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing with the American Bar Association.
• Successful completion of the bar exam.
• Willingness to learn from senior attorneys.
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required.

Certifications

• Active membership with the American Bar Association.
