Director, PBM Compliance
The candidate serves as a subject matter expert for all compliance and audit policies. Identifies, monitors and tracks vendor compliance with all contractual commitments within existing vendor agreements and supporting Amendments. Executes vendor audits annually in compliance with contractual rights. Primary contact for vendor compliance and audit activities and serves as compliance contact for various internal departments, such as executive leadership, legal, government affairs, client management and operations. Negotiates audit requirements with both internal resources and external entities. Manages the overall reporting, tracking, and responses for all vendor audits. Coordinates to ensure that corrective action plans are completed, evaluated, tested and risk assessments are completed. Serves as point person for major vendor compliance initiatives and ensures appropriate company advocacy and representation on all compliance-related issues concerning the PBM. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. Should have BA/BS in a related field and 10+ years compliance experience with knowledge of the pharmacy benefit management industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MS/MBA and/or field related professional designation is preferred.
