Location:

Duties:

• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Take and defend depositions with confidence

• Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement conferences

• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies

• Analyze statutes, case law, and regulations to guide litigation strategy

• Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, courts, and managing attorneys

• Organize and manage documentation in complex or multidistrict litigation matters

• Handle caseloads efficiently and independently

• Try straightforward cases with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years of litigation experience

• Ability to manage cases independently

• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Demonstrated professionalism and reliability

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Alabama

Skills:

• Legal research and analysis
