Senior Associate, Specialized Tax Services – Partnerships
Duties: The candidate will be responsible for utilizing basic research skills and applying your educational background to assist in advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives and various partnership specific items including but not limited to section 704(b) and taxable income allocations, capital account maintenance, liability analysis and allocations, section 734(b) and 743(b) adjustment calculations and Tax Receivable Agreement (TRA) calculations. In this role the STS Partnerships Senior Associate will apply their knowledge and experience to understand potential partnership taxation issues and assist in the preparation of partnership specific computations. The STS Senior Associate is a critical member of the STS Partnerships team and will be exposed to marketing and business development activities of the group. In addition, the STS Partnerships Senior Associate will be exposed to process improvement and team-building initiatives, maintaining client relationships, and will act as a source of guidance to staff.
