Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents such as credit agreement amendments and ancillary loan documents.
• Assist in reviewing legal documents for accuracy and completeness and conduct thorough due diligence.
• Conduct legal research and stay informed on legal developments impacting corporate trust.
• Provide practical legal advice to trust officers and corporate trust departments.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with law firm partners to ensure efficient handling of matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.
• MN Attorney License.
• Minimum 6 months experience or equivalent coursework in Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings.
• Experience with financial and trustee-related documents.
• Experience in financial due diligence, including UCC and tax lien searches.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• MN Attorney License.

Benefits
