Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its litigation team with a focus on managed care disputes. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience handling multifaceted commercial litigation and arbitration matters, acting as the central point of contact across ongoing cases, and managing internal coordination and client engagement. A background in health care or managed care law is highly desirable.

Duties:

• Lead litigation matters involving complex commercial and managed care disputes

• Coordinate with other attorneys and support staff on active case management

• Serve as a primary client liaison, ensuring responsive and strategic communication

• Participate in arbitration proceedings and pre-trial preparations

• Draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision

• Conduct legal research and analyze applicable laws, regulations, and case law

• Support case strategy and discovery planning across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation or arbitration

• Demonstrated ability to manage several active cases simultaneously

• Experience communicating directly with clients and coordinating legal teams

• Health care or managed care litigation background preferred

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Texas Bar membership required
