State and Local Tax Manager - Indirect Tax
Duties: Assist with management of clients and their needs. Perform technical review and analysis of multistate sales, use, and gross receipts tax issues such as nexus, apportionment, taxability, and state credits. Assist with various tax consulting projects including research and writing projects related to tax planning, nexus studies, voluntary disclosure applications, audit defense, and penalty abatement. Analyze taxpayer data and be able to identify opportunities for prospects and clients. Keep up to date on state and local tax law changes. Participate in business development activities as needed. Develop internal relationships within the firm and help grow external branding.
