A law firm seeks a Senior Advice And Counsel Associate Attorney for its San Francisco, CA, location.

Job Overview:

The Senior Advice And Counsel Associate Attorney will provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on a variety of employment law matters. This role involves conducting audits, drafting legal documents, and offering practical solutions to complex employment issues.

Duties:

• Conduct audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures.
• Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans.
• Draft and revise policies, handbooks, and other employee communication documents for clarity and compliance.
• Explain complex employment law issues in accessible language to diverse audiences.
• Identify problem-solving options and present the pros and cons of each for informed client decision-making.

Requirements:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in employment law.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law.
• Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience conducting training or workplace investigations preferred.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
