A reputable law firm in Plano, TX, seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. This role requires a proactive legal professional skilled in managing commercial insurance disputes, conducting complex litigation tasks, and advising clients on various coverage matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in all phases of litigation and a thorough understanding of commercial insurance coverage policies.

Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis for litigation support.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload with a high level of organization.
• Collaborate with partners on complex litigation strategies and case planning.
• Maintain consistent, effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Actively participate in strategy discussions, developing comprehensive case approaches.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, with preference for commercial insurance dispute background.
• Demonstrated experience in all litigation phases, including factual investigation, discovery, pleadings, mediation, and client interaction.
• Proven ability to independently manage case responsibilities and implement legal strategies.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with a record of academic excellence.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas State Bar.
