Duties:

• Offer regulatory counsel to healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with relevant federal and state healthcare laws.
• Advise on risk management and compliance programs for healthcare organizations.
• Assist with healthcare transactions, compliance audits, and regulatory investigations.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals on complex, multidisciplinary cases.
• Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and advise clients on their implications.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory law.
• Proven ability to handle healthcare compliance and risk management.
• Experience working with healthcare regulatory bodies and agencies.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in South Carolina or eligibility for reciprocity.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary legal team.
• Familiarity with agencies such as HHS, CMS, and state healthcare bodies.
