PART-TIME PARALEGAL ---- WORK FROM HOME

Profile

Seeking part-time paralegal to WORK FROM HOME for approximately 15 - 20 hours/week with reasonable flexibility but subject to pending deadlines and extra hours as may be required.

• Must be located in Pacific Time Zone.
• Independent Contractor Status.
• Ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years' paralegal experience in California civil law (Preferably general real estate and eviction law);
  • Experience with legal calendaring, state and federal court rules, and e-filing;
  • Exceptional writing skills;
  • Experience in preparation of draft legal documents (for attorney review) such as demand letters, pleadings, motions, declarations, discovery, etc. as well as arbitration/trial preparation and support; and
  • Be proficient with Adobe Acrobat Pro, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks, on-line legal research (CEB/Westlaw).
• Compensation comensurate with experience.
