Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Corporate practice in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on complex energy, infrastructure, and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project development, and strategic investments. Experience with renewable energy and cross-border matters is preferred.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including memos and contracts.
• Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing professional support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative transaction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Engage in firm programs and pro bono work.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of corporate, energy, or infrastructure transactional experience.
• Familiarity with tax equity financings and complex investment arrangements is a plus.
• Experience with M&A, project development, and joint venture transactions.

Education

• JD Degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of California.
