Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Miami is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with admission and good standing with the State of Florida Bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases concurrently, along with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. While 3+ years of litigation experience in commercial and/or personal injury matters is preferred, entry-level candidates with a keen interest in gaining litigation experience are encouraged to apply and will be considered.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes and personal injury cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on case-specific issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist with case management and strategy development.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and court proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.
• Provide support to senior attorneys as needed.

Requirements:

• Admission and good standing with the State of Florida Bar.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to and good standing with the State of Florida Bar.
