Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Certified Family Law Specialist or experienced Family Law Attorney in Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional legal services and client advocacy.

Duties

• Communicate directly with clients, advising and advocating on their behalf.
• Handle all aspects of litigation and negotiation, including pleadings, discovery, and trials.
• Prepare clients for hearings and child custody evaluations.
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions and settlement agreements.
• Manage complex issues like property division and custody evaluations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of family law experience (CFLS preferred).
• Strong research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Familiarity with Clio and Mac systems is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Certified Family Law Specialist (preferred).
