This role involves representing clients in contested probate matters, guardianships, and conservatorships, while ensuring that all aspects of legal proceedings are handled efficiently and professionally. Location:

• Coral Gables, FL

Duties:

• Manage cases from beginning to end, including all probate-related matters.
• Delegate tasks and supervise paralegals and assistants.
• Review and edit drafts of probate documents for formal and summary administrations, guardianships, and conservatorships.
• Draft substantive complaints, motions, oppositions, correspondence, and pleadings for contested matters.
• Conduct research on various probate-related issues.
• Draft and respond to interrogatories, subpoenas, and document requests.
• Attend client meetings and court hearings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Probate, Guardianship, and Adversarial Probate.
• Ability to handle cases autonomously from start to finish.
• Member of The Florida Bar.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Proven track record in managing complex probate litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be a member of The Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in probate litigation and courtroom practice.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Proficient in drafting legal documents, including complaints, motions, and responses.
