Responsibilities: Review contracts/purchase & sale agreements, calculate critical dates (and utilize docket to track same). Prepare closing checklists, calculate critical dates and maintain both as the transaction progresses. Review title, survey and zoning; prepare objection notices and response letters; experience with clearing title matters and knowledge of ALTA survey standards. Research and facilitate local requirements and tax clearance/bulk sales. Preparation of estoppels and SNDAs. Prepare and review closing documents. Due diligence process including ordering, reviewing and summarizing searches. Lease review and abstracts. Preparation and filing of UCC Financing Statements. Prepare for, coordinate and facilitate all aspects of closings with client, title companies and lenders. Oversees preparation of electronic closing binders. Effectively utilizes the firm’s docketing system to track matters. Communicates with clients and third parties throughout the course of a matter.
