Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview:
A Lakewood-based law firm known for its litigation excellence is expanding its plaintiff-side personal injury team. The position offers a dynamic opportunity to work alongside highly regarded trial practitioners, many of whom are actively involved in national and regional legal associations. This role provides access to experienced mentors and fosters ongoing development within the personal injury litigation space.

Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of personal injury matters, including pre-litigation and litigation

• Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances

• Draft legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, and discovery

• Collaborate with senior litigators on trial preparation and strategy

• Analyze case files, perform legal research, and develop case theories

• Engage with clients, medical professionals, and expert witnesses

• Supervise and support junior associates or legal staff as needed

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law and good standing with a State Bar (Colorado preferred)

• Prior experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury cases or similar tort matters

• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis and Westlaw

• Strong oral advocacy and persuasive writing skills

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a litigation team

• Familiarity with trial procedures and courtroom practices

• Experience mentoring junior legal professionals or administrative staff is desirable

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the ABA

Certifications:

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Colorado preferred)
