Duties

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal.

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on risk management and dispute resolution.
• Participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
• Manage case preparation, including depositions, witness preparation, and trial strategy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal laws relevant to commercial litigation.

Requirements

• 13 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven record of successfully managing complex litigation cases and trials.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal solutions.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Licensed to practice law in California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Board certification in litigation or related specialty preferred but not required.
