Job Overview: Seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate Attorney on behalf of a growing law firm in Houston. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic litigation practice, representing clients in a wide range of complex business litigation matters. The successful candidate will manage all phases of litigation, from legal research and discovery to trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of litigation experience and be prepared to represent clients in both state and federal courts.

Duties:

• Represent clients in a variety of business litigation matters before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery, including reviewing documents and preparing responses.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, ensuring the best outcomes in litigation.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Prepare for trials, including witness preparation, evidence collection, and court filings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop and execute case strategies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of litigation experience.
• Proven experience in trial preparation, courtroom procedures, and legal research.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and litigation strategy development.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
