A prominent law firm based in San Antonio, TX, seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Intake Attorney with a background in immigration law. Duties:

  • Monitor internal case management systems for real-time intake updates

  • Analyze intake forms and submitted documents from potential clients

  • Assess eligibility for various forms of immigration relief

  • Recommend legal strategies and services tailored to each client’s situation

  • Advise current clients on legal options beyond existing service agreements

  • Respond to legal inquiries and clarify procedural questions for new and existing clients

  • Coordinate with the business development team and provide strategic legal feedback

  • Supervise intake support personnel, including paralegals and virtual assistants

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in immigration law

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a volume caseload independently

  • Proven success in identifying legal remedies across a range of immigration categories

  • Strong communication and client-interaction skills

  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a fast-paced legal team

  • Spanish-English bilingual fluency preferred

  • Familiarity with legal software tools, especially case management systems

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in good standing

Skills:

  • Strong legal analytical skills, particularly related to immigration categories such as family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, naturalization, and EOIR representation

  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship-building abilities

  • Tech-savvy, with comfort navigating digital platforms and virtual collaboration tools

  • Clear and concise legal communication, both written and verbal
