Job Overview:
A mid-sized, AV-Preeminent law firm based in Glendale is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join its employment litigation team. The role focuses on defending employers in complex employment-related legal matters and provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with a competitive benefits package and a sign-on bonus.

Location:

• Glendale, California

Duties:

• Handle employment-related litigation including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims

• Conduct and respond to discovery

• Take and defend depositions

• Prepare and argue motions

• Assist with mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation

• Represent clients in proceedings involving Class Action, PAGA, and FEHA claims

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment law

• Experience with Class Action and representative actions preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities

• Effective oral advocacy and litigation skills

• Detail-oriented with strong case management capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
