Summer Internship
The intern will work closely with staff throughout the State to develop a thorough knowledge of local issues and constituent needs. Support office staff and answer constituent calls, conduct research, and monitor local news outlets for daily developments. State interns have the opportunity to attend events with Senator Carper, such as constituent events and town hall meetings. The internship program is open to college students and recent graduates with a record of academic excellence and a strong interest in public service. Preference is given to Delaware residents.
