Job Overview: A law firm specializing in entertainment law is seeking a Mid-Level Film/TV Entertainment Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience. Duties:

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate various entertainment agreements, including acquisition, development, production, distribution, and financing agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations of entertainment industry assets to assess legal risks and provide strategic advice.
  • Effectively manage small to mid-sized matters with moderate partner supervision.
  • Take responsibility for portions of larger, more complex matters within the entertainment law practice.
  • Provide insightful legal analysis and advice on intellectual property rights in the entertainment industry.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of California or New York.
  • 3-4 years of relevant legal experience in entertainment law.
  • Proven ability to manage legal matters with moderate supervision and handle portions of larger, complex cases.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California or New York State Bar.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of entertainment law, focusing on film, television, new media, and audio.
  • Proficient in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating various entertainment agreements.
