The candidate should have any Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or higher and 2+ years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment or any associate degree from an accredited institution and 6+ years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment or Master's in business, business management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing or business education or Bachelor's in any of the above and Master's in economics, personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B. degree, Bachelor's in economics with a business emphasis AND Master's in personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B. degree, or the equivalent. Should be sensitive to and understand the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Teaching or work experience in Human Resources or Retail Management; Awareness of the philosophy and objectives of California Community Colleges is desired.
